Hello.  My name is Mike Tieden (MYK TEE-den).  This is my blog, where I write and share interesting things about my adventurous life.  I believe firmly in free-will, and I found that the purpose of life is to live.  I devised a plan for 2012: try something new every week and document it here.  I post some cool stuff on Twitter and Tumblr too.

So, who am I?  Where am I from?  What do I do?

I’m a mid-twentyish male who was born, raised, and is currently living in the Twin Cities.  When I have free time I enjoy: golfing, snowboarding, doing what I can to solve the global water problem, volunteering, eating great food, swashbuckling, drinking tasty coffee, attending Minnesota sporting events, crying after watching said sporting events, writing about my experiences.  Mostly I enjoy living.
